After having our images published in dozens of books and hundred of publications over the years - it was a real buzz to finally both write and photograph our first book. Surfing is a huge hobby for both Georgie and I and the opportunity to travel the country, photograph and chat with so many amazing surfers was crazy.
Surfing in NZ has come a long way from its original roots but at the end of the day, its still just the surfer and their board trying to ride a wave. Every surfers personal addiction to the sport, makes for what we think is an interesting read! We met some great characters including Gary McCormick, singer Jamie McDell and World Junior Surfing Champion Ella Williams. Plus it was great fun to photograph.
